Traveling Tea with the Bride-to-Be

Oh So Frilly Events has you covered with our Traveling Tea Party service! From bringing everything needed for the tablescape to setting it up, hosting the experience, and cleaning it all up afterward, we handle it from start to finish so you can actually enjoy your event.

The Tablescape Details

Our Traveling Tea Party service includes the full place setting for each guest. We provide vintage china plates curated to match your theme and colors, water goblets, adorable teacups, satin napkins, and mini floral-shaped tea spoons. Every detail is intentionally selected to fit your vision. Whether you love bows, florals, pastels, bright colors, or a more classic aesthetic, we more than likely have pieces to match it!

We also include velvet pink menu books for each table. Whether you use one of our preferred caterers or bring in your own, we create custom menus for your guests featuring the food selections along with our tea blends. They add such a classy and elevated touch to the tablescape.

Minimal floral blooms in bud vases are also included for each table because, in our opinion, you simply can’t have a tea party without flowers. For this bridal shower, the client worked with a florist who created larger floral arrangements for the tables, and the colors paired so beautifully with the vintage china.

Each table also receives a three-tier stand for tea bites and desserts. We love mixing and matching the plates throughout the tiers to create a curated, collected look. If needed, we can also help plate food if you secured catering yourself or if your caterer does not handle setup.

We love incorporating playful tea-themed details throughout the experience, including adorable tea-inspired stickers that guests always get excited about. Each guest also receives sample-sized packs of our signature tea blends to enjoy at home. For clients wanting an extra-special touch, we offer a tea-themed favor add-on featuring adorable teapot favor boxes filled with tea samples and prepackaged sugar cubes.

A Guided Tea Tasting Experience

Not only do we provide our exclusive tea blends, but we also present them one by one as part of an interactive tea tasting experience for your guests. We talk about what’s in each blend, fun tea facts, and some of the benefits behind the ingredients before serving them in our unique vintage teapots.

Tea lovers especially enjoy trying blends they may have never experienced before, which is one of the things that makes our service feel so unique and memorable.

Our three signature blends include:

Chanel Blend — a light floral blend with soft notes of lavender and rose

Western Blend — a warm, spiced blend with citrus and cozy notes

Farmhouse Blend — a caffeine-free apple cinnamon blend we lovingly call “fall in a cup”

We typically begin the service with the Chanel Blend, which we consider our “welcome tea.” It’s light, floral, and easy to sip while guests settle in and enjoy conversation before eating. Surprisingly, even guests who don’t normally gravitate toward floral teas tend to love this one because of how softly balanced the flavors are.

Our Western Blend is delicious paired with savory bites and is personally one of our favorite blends. The Farmhouse Blend is caffeine free and perfect for guests who avoid caffeine or simply want something cozy and comforting alongside sweet tea bites. We lovingly refer to it as our “fall in a cup” tea.

Guests absolutely love the interactive nature of the experience. From the tea presentations to tasting each blend together, it becomes more than just a meal — it becomes part of the entertainment and overall atmosphere. We even wear floral aprons and lace gloves to lean into the vintage tea party feel. We take the experience very seriously!

Bringing the Tea Party to You

The last thing you should be doing during your own shower or party is stressing over setting tables, washing dishes, or coordinating details. And don’t put all of that on mom either! We transport everything directly to your location whether that’s your home, backyard, Airbnb, private venue, or another event space entirely.

We handle setup, hosting, the tea service, and cleanup following the event so the entire experience feels seamless for you and your guests.

This bridal shower took place at The Audrey, which was such a beautiful venue for this event. The florist selected the most stunning color palette for the tablescapes, and the caterer created adorable tea bites that looked perfect displayed on the tea tiers. They even served charcuterie in teacups, which tied everything together beautifully.

It is always so special seeing multiple vendors come together to bring a client’s vision to life, and this event truly felt like the perfect canvas for our Traveling Tea Party experience.
