A Bridgerton-Inspired Bridal Shower at Oh So Frilly

Imagine a Bridgerton-inspired bridal shower filled with all the details you could dream of: soft pinks and greens, bows, hot tea, mimosas, vintage china, hats and gloves, cookies, florals, and so much more.

This intimate shower brought together 25 of the bride’s favorite gals for a relaxed afternoon of sipping tea, enjoying delicious bites, playing games, and celebrating the bride-to-be.

It was the perfect example of what we love most about hosting at Oh So Frilly: taking a vision and bringing all of the little details together to create a celebration that feels completely personal.

The Bridgerton-Inspired Tablescape

Our client truly leaned into the theme, and we loved every detail. She was a dream client because her vision was exactly what we love to create at Oh So Frilly!

For the tables, she chose our white floral linens paired with satin napkins in pink, lavender, and green. Since her celebration was booked through our all-inclusive package, she and her mom also enjoyed a complimentary china consultation. They came in to browse our collection and choose their favorite vintage plates and goblets prior to the shower. And because she loved the china so much, she also selected her goblet colors for her upcoming wedding while she was here.

She carried the tea cup floral design throughout the shower, using it on her signage and other little details. Her place cards even featured “Lady” followed by each guest’s name, adding the perfect Bridgerton touch.

For entertainment, we placed little games directly on the tables for guests to fill out while they sipped their tea, including “Who Spilled the Tea?” and a few fun questions about the bride.

Because there was quite a bit of food, from The Merrie Chef, being served, we used both appetizer plates and larger plates at each place setting. And one of our favorite details? A sweet tea cup cookie placed on top of every teacup. Each guest could take it home as a little favor.

Tea, Mimosas & Plenty of Details

The bride wanted the afternoon to feel relaxed and social, so there was plenty to sip and enjoy.

She hired Tipsy Wheels for bartending and brought in a beautiful mimosa cart, which was set up in our Western Lounge. It gave guests the option to enjoy a mimosa alongside their tea while they mingled and celebrated.

For the front porch, she brought in The Cheerful Balloon to create a beautiful balloon display. The floral balloons incorporated into the arch were the perfect finishing touch and tied in so beautifully with the rest of the shower.

A Little Something to Capture the Memories

The bride also rented our digital film cameras through our sister company, Clicksburgh Retro Rentals. The cameras have the look and feel of a classic disposable camera, with adorable floral designs that fit perfectly with the shower. But unlike a disposable camera, they aren't actually disposable—they have an SD card, allowing guests to capture plenty of photos throughout the celebration. We placed several cameras around the tables so guests could grab one throughout the afternoon and document the little moments from their own perspective.

Tea Cup Candle Favors

The bride loved the idea of our tea cup candles, poured locally by Burke Candle, as favors for her guests. She even had custom matchboxes made to coordinate with the candles, making the favor feel like a complete little gift rather than just something to take home.

A Floral Welcome

Of course, we couldn't forget the front porch. Our planter welcome sign is available as an add-on, and we customize the vinyl lettering for each event and finish it with florals to coordinate with the celebration. For this shower, it was the perfect welcome to the afternoon and another place to bring the theme to life.

Every Detail Tells the Story

What made this bridal shower so special wasn't just one detail—it was how everything worked together.

From the vintage china and floral linens to the tea cup cookies, mimosa cart, balloon display, digital cameras, candle favors, and custom signage, every element reflected the bride's vision.

And that's exactly what we love about intimate celebrations at Oh So Frilly. With a smaller guest list, you have the opportunity to be intentional about the details and create an experience your guests will remember long after the last cup of tea is poured.
